PERSONALITY: Kuukou is a brash monk who doesn’t bite his tongue when it comes to his opinions, doesn’t like bullies, and is fiercely loyal to his friends. At first glance it may look as if he doesn’t care about the people in his life when he does. He can be brash, but he will be there if someone needs him. He doesn’t back down from a fight and he will keep going, until the very end. Being the heir of a well renowned buddist temple he doesn’t hesitate to give a person a piece of buddist advice, though it might be while he’s talking about them.

However, there’s no malicious intent behind his words. It's his way of showing affection towards his friends. If it’s someone he doesn’t like then his words take on a different tone where he will point out what he doesn’t like about them. Such as, whenever he argues with his father he lets him know exactly why he doesn’t like cleaning the temple. Yet, he still respects his father that he will do it. While he may complain about doing some work or a chore he will still complete it. He’s very dependable that he will not go back on his word. When he tells someone that he’s going to do something then he follows through with it.

While he may be a monk he will not hesitate to fight if that’s what he has to do. He’s not one to back down from a fight either, if someone were to challenge him then he would meet it head on. Kuukou will defend his friends from bullies and will help them in a fight if they need it. He may not look for a fight or cause it, it won’t stop him from jumping in when he needs to. Due to his teachings he doesn’t believe in causing a fight, but he doesn’t believe in someone using their power to pick on others. When he helped Ichiro when he was a loan shark it was to make sure that he could watch his back and that no one would mess with him. During middle school Kuukou got in trouble for fighting the bullies after he found out what they did to a classmate. He’ll do what he can to protect people and make sure that they’re safe.

Kuukou may be harsh at first glance, but deep down he does care about people. When he first met Jyushi, a member of his rap division, he had him undergo intense training while using his microphone, a technique that can cause permanent damage in some cases. During the training he continues to use the technique on Jyushi, until he can stand it. However, before he began he gave Jyushi a choice if he wanted to go through his training. He hoped that Jyushi would agree so he could help him defend against his bullies since he couldn’t stand learning that happened to him. Kuukou wanted to help build up Jyushi’s defense so he would be able to stand the attacks from even stronger people. When he was part of the naughty busters with Ichiro he didn’t bite his tongue from some remarks cause he knew that Ichiro would be able to handle it. Kuukou doesn’t give out what other people can’t handle. He doesn’t want anyone else to fail, he wants to help the succeed and become a stronger person in the process.

Kuukou does have quite a temper and won’t think before he acts. That’s how he met Hitoya, another member of his rap division, after he helped him when the bullies he beat up took him to court. One of his philosophies in life is one he makes a decision then he won’t go back on it or overthink it. He doesn’t want to have any regrets about any decisions that it’s easier for him to do it instead of overthinking about it. It’s something that he carries with him during his rap battles too.

Kuukou has a sharp tongue, a quick temper, and will take action before he thinks. He also has a lot of respect for people, has a big heart, and wants to make sure that the people in his life are taken care of and protected. He’s fiercely loyal to his friends and will not hide any mistake he makes.


POWERS/ABILITIES: He has a hypnosis mic. Not much is known about it except when he uses it he has the ability to knock someone unconscious.

Kuukou’s ears twitched as he looked at the gift left in front of his door. Another pair of boots from the best store in town along with silken sheets for his bed and a box of the best sweets in town, more gifts from that guy who wouldn’t take a hint. Since that man approached him that day Kuukou hasn’t been able to shake him. He knew how these things went, he knew that he wouldn’t be able to deny him for long before that guy would become aggressive which would make Kuukou respond in turn and it probably wouldn’t end well. The last thing Kuukou wanted to do was get on the bad side of this guy who had power in Prisma’s underworld, especially when none of his friends or allies were here. However, he didn’t like the idea of someone making his life hell either.

Kuukou picked up the gifts and carried them inside. He dumped them in the corner with the other gifts before he walked over to take a seat on his couch. Since the appearance of these wolf ears and tail it’s been harder for him to control his anger. He wanted to lash out at the guy and tell him that he wasn’t interested. He’s lived that type of life before, he’s done with it now, and he hadn’t planned on going back. However, since this guy got his eye on him he knew that there were others from his group watching him, waiting to see what Kuukou’s answers would be, and if they need to act accordingly based on his answers. Kuukou already told the guy he’s not interested, yet he won’t stop. He doesn’t wear anything of the things he gets him, he doesn’t use any of the gifts either, he does eat the sweets cause he’s not letting those goes to waste, but he’s not interested! He wants to lash out and tell the guy where he can shove his offer. He wants to let that guy know that he’s not going to live in fear if he doesn’t accept his offer. Yet he can’t cause he doesn’t have any allies here and he’s not that dumb anymore. Still, it’s frustrating to know that he won’t quit, until Kuukou gives him the answer he wants.

Kuukou grumbled as he took some bubble gum out of his pocket. He carefully peeled the paper off, since he was getting used to his claws, and popped a piece in his mouth. While it frustrated him, it’s not like he didn’t have options. There were options in everything in life, this would be no different. He centered his mind as he blew a bubble and thought over what he could do. He could: 1) accept and fall back into the life of working for shady guys again except without the news making it back to his dad or Hitoya or Jyushi, 2) decline and get used to an organization he doesn’t understand making his life hell, 3) go to the moonknights about this or 4) accept and try to negotiate some terms. Option four looked good, he would do option three if he absolutely had to, option one would be his next solution if option four and three fell through, and option two would be the last thing he’d do. With his mind made up, he reached in his pocket to pull out the card with a phone number on it, pulled out his phone, and dialed the number.

“Hey! So I’ve been thinking I’ll go to dinner with you. I know, I know finally right? I can’t just give you an answer without knowing what you’re about! How about you let me thank you for the gifts? Then we can go on from there. Sounds good? Good! I’ll see you there then!”
Kuukou hung up and walked over to put on his new boots. While he doesn’t know what’s going to happen, he knows that he has options that he can use. Kuukou popped a bubble on his way out the door. Besides, what’s life without a few surprises right? One of his teachings that he’ll always remember will be if one was afraid then one wouldn’t be able to live. He didn’t live in fear of life and he wouldn’t start now.
